Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Queyn — the algorithmic forex simulation platform.

What is Queyn?

Queyn is a forex simulation platform that generates realistic synthetic EUR/USD market data. You can build custom market scenarios, practice trading with position management and technical indicators, and export data for analysis and AI training.

Is the market data real?

No. All price data is synthetic, produced by an agent-based price engine with market makers, an order book, and regime switching. The NY/London session template is statistically validated against real market data using skewness, kurtosis, and Jarque-Bera tests.

Do I trade with real money?

No. Queyn is a simulation environment. You trade with a virtual balance, so you can test strategies and practice risk management without financial risk.

What is the NY/London session template?

A preset that simulates the 4-hour NY/London overlap (8:00–12:00 EST, 240 one-minute candles). Each run generates a unique Monte Carlo session composed of 25–40 market regimes, with live statistical validation shown in the app.

Can I export data and use it to train AI models?

Yes. Scenarios export to CSV or JSON, including normalized returns, price swings, and spread data — suited to regime classification, reinforcement-learning environments, and stress testing. For direction-prediction models we recommend blending synthetic with real data.

Is Queyn financial advice? Will strategies that work in Queyn work in real markets?

No. Queyn is an educational and research simulation tool — it is not financial or investment advice. It is designed to complement, not replace, traditional backtesting on historical data: use Queyn to explore controlled scenarios and stress conditions that history rarely provides, then validate your strategies on real historical data and forward testing before trading live. Simulated results do not guarantee real-market performance: synthetic data approximates, but does not replicate, live market conditions, execution, or liquidity. Trading real markets involves substantial risk of loss, and decisions you make there are your own responsibility. See our Terms of Service.

Does Queyn have an API for bots?

Yes. A WebSocket Bot API streams real-time ticks, candles, and market microstructure data to automated trading bots. See the documentation for integration details.
